Ideally positioned within a recent and sympathetically converted small courtyard (formally a fish merchant's yard) and just a few moments' stroll from the harbourside with roof top views across the Firth of Forth and out to Bass Rock this very comfortable and well appointed town house makes an ideal holiday base. Anstruther the largest of the East Neuk fishing villages is home to the Scottish Fisheries Museum as well as interesting shops welcoming pubs and an award winning fish and chip shop (500 yards). Just 9 miles away lies the 'home' of golf the ancient university town of St Andrews and many other excellent courses are close by. Visitors can enjoy boat excursions to the Isle of May there are wonderful coastal footpaths and the beaches are glorious.
The above map of the Anstruther area (if displayed) provides a rough indication to how close to the coast and / or a sandy beach Creel Cottage is. Clicking on the satelite icon on the map will provide an aerial picture of the Anstruther area. The location on the map may not be exact as often it is based on the postcode of the property.
If the distance to the beach is important please call 0844 847 1352 to book and you can confirm any details over the phone.
